Meet Our Team
|
Dr. Gayle Karanges earned her Doctorate in Optometry in 1985, graduating from the University of Houston with honors. She also completed postgraduate studies in ocular therapeutics including the management of LASIK and Glaucoma. She began her practice in Arlington in 1988 and is a member of the American Optometric Society and the Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Karanges also serves on the executive board of 1st Eye Care, Inc. and is a past president of 1st Eye Care.
Dr. Karanges is actively involved in raising and showing Quarter Horses and enjoys spending time with her family, husband Nick, and 2 daughters, Kelsey and Karli.
 Dr. Gina Seymour joined 1st Eye Care in 1995 after graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry. She is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. In addition to her experience with co-managing LASIK patients, Dr. Seymour is also licensed in the treatment and management of infections, injuries, and diseases of the eye.
Dr. Seymour and her husband, Craig, currently reside in Addison with their two sons. She enjoys traveling back to Minnesota to see family, as well as, spending time home with her boys.

Dr. Nguyen , O.D. Dr. Vanessa Nguyen received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas
at Arlington before pursuing her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston
College of Optometry She received Clinical Excellence Awards in Primary Care and
Contact Lens clinics.
Dr. Nguyen joined I" Eyecare in 2008. She specializes in the therapeutic treatment and
management of ocular diseases and injuries. She is also an optometric glaucoma
specialist. She has experience with co-managing Lasik and cataract patients at her
internship rotations. Dr. Nguyen is a member of American Optometric Association,
Texas Optometric Association, and Tarrant County Optometric Society.
Dr. Nguyen likes to travel and cook. She grew up in Arlington and has deep roots in the
community. She is the oldest of 5 kids and loves spoiling her only niece Mackenzie.

Michelle Perry, O.D. received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma before pursuing her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Perry joined First Eye Care in 2005. She specializes in the therapeutic treatment and management of ocular diseases and injuries. She also has experience with co-managing Lasik patients. Dr. Perry is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Perry and her husband Zack currently resides in Southlake with their two daughters. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. |
